About Dalia

I have been practising Yoga since 2002 and teaching it since 2018, with a particular focus on Tantra Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Qigong, Taoist practices, meditation and embodied feminine wisdom.
My teaching is rooted in the deeper dimensions of Yoga beyond the physical body. I place particular emphasis on cultivating awareness through mindful movement, breathwork, meditation and conscious living - allowing the practice to become a meeting place between body, mind, energy and heart.

How the practice found me
In 2005, I was introduced to the science and practice of Tantra, Yantra and Mantra by Poojya Gurumatha Amma at Vyasa Veda Peeta Ashram in Bangalore and was initiated into Reiki healing.
That experience opened a path of study that has continued ever since. Energy work, sound, pranic healing, Tantra and Taoist wisdom have become an important part of both my personal practice and the way I understand the human being as a whole.

Where the teachings come from
I am a Yoga Alliance registered RYT-200 Yoga Teacher and have been leading group classes, private sessions, women's circles, workshops and retreats.
Over the years, I have explored a wide range of Yoga traditions and modalities, including Vinyasa, Kundalini, Yin, Yoga Nidra, Tantra, Jivamukti, Iyengar, Anusara, Ashtanga, Visceral Yoga, Aerial and Antigravity Yoga, Pre- and Postnatal Yoga, and Yoga for children and teenagers, alongside Pranayama, meditation and various forms of breathwork.
I have had the privilege of studying with many inspiring teachers and mentors, including Parama Poojya Gurumatha Amma, Dr Christopher Wallis (Hareesh), Mark Whitwell, Gurmukh, Shiva Rea, Yogeswari, Brian Kest, Marisa Cranfill, Karolina Schmidt, Gillian Wagner, Karl Straub, Miriam Ropshitz, Jules Febre, Simon Park, Olga Oskorbina, Jonas Westring, Sofia Sundari and others.
More teachings
I am also a dedicated practitioner of Qigong and a certified YOQI Associate Instructor, integrating medical, spiritual and martial Qigong principles with Yoga, breath and meditation.
One of my deepest passions is working with children and young people. As a former school teacher and certified GroovyKids Yoga Instructor, I have taught Yoga, Qigong and mindfulness to children and teenagers, helping them develop greater body awareness, emotional regulation, confidence and inner calm.
Alongside my work as a Yoga and Qigong teacher, I am an ICF-trained Transformational Life Coach, Reiki practitioner, Holistic Coach for Women recognised by ICAHP, and wellbeing, embodiment and spiritual mentor.

Who I teach, and how
My classes are gentle but profound, grounded yet spiritual. I invite you not to perform, but to feel; not to push, but to listen; and to allow the breath to guide you back into your own presence.
Alongside private students seen individually in Zürich, Zug and online, I announce smaller circles and retreats held a few times a year. I also collaborate with various yoga studios, festivals and wellness centers. I teach mainly in English but also speak German, Ukrainian, Russian and some French.
