is an inclusive, heart-centered practice space, where movement, breath and awareness become a path from embodied human experience into expanded consciousness.
The practice begins in the HEART and opens through the BREATH, creating SPACE for awareness, connection and spiritual illumination.
The method in full
My method is a contemporary blend of yoga, qigong, meditation, breathwork, sound, energy & community healing. It welcomes the whole human experience: energy, mind, emotions, body, breath, relationships, nature and spirit.
This is where I see the essential difference between yoga and fitness. In fitness, movement often comes first and then the breath follows. We ask the body to perform, to push, to achieve.
In my approach to movement, we begin with loving presence. We root that presence in the HEART, in a kind attitude towards ourselves, our bodies, our lives and our practice. And from there, we just breathe.
We don’t force the body into movement; we allow the breath to carry us into it. Each asana becomes an expression of loving presence through the body, and the breath becomes the thread that weaves one movement into the next.
For me, if we practice asana from the ego rather than from the heart, we may be making the shapes of yoga, but we are missing its essence. If we forget to breathe, we have lost the master thread.
Breath becomes your guide and vehicle. Your practice becomes your meditation.

Welcome.
Yoga has been part of my life for many years, but my practice has gradually become less about how deeply I can move into an asana and much more about how deeply I can be present within it and stay connected to my heart off the mat.
I do not believe in forcing the body or striving toward an ideal form. I believe in learning to listen. To breathe. To soften enough to feel and create the conditions in which the body, heart and nervous system can remember their own intelligence.
For me, Yoga is far more than a physical practice. It is a way of returning to ourselves: through loving full-body awareness, conscious breathing, mindful movement, stillness, and presence.
I teach yoga, qigong, meditation and breathwork as different pathways into the same place: greater awareness of the body, a deeper connection to the heart, and a more loving relationship with ourselves and the world around us.
Yoga happens when loving presence, breath and movement become one.
The breath is the vehicle. The body is the expression. Asana is the language. Yoga is the return to Union. This is TRUE YOGA.
Asana practiced only from ego may reproduce the shape of yoga while losing its essence. Loving presence, breath and movement are woven together like one continuous thread.
How the practice unfolds
This is where I see the essential difference between yoga and fitness. In fitness, movement often comes first and the breath follows. We ask the body to perform, to push, to achieve.
In yoga, we begin somewhere else.
We begin with presence. We root that presence in the heart, in a loving attitude towards ourselves and our bodies. And from there, we breathe.
The breath becomes our guide.
We don’t force the body into movement; we allow the breath to carry us into it. Each asana becomes an expression of loving presence through the body, and the breath becomes the thread that weaves one movement into the next.
For me, if we practise asana from the ego rather than from the heart, we may be making the shapes of yoga, but we are missing its essence. If we forget to breathe, we have lost the thread.
And ultimately, the practice brings us back to where we began: to the HEART.
Not only the personal heart, but to a greater sense of connection with all that is: to the Universal Heart. To loving kindness towards ourselves and those around us.
Only from here we can know true PEACE.
Your heart is the portal
The place where grounding and transcendence meet.
Loving presence begins in the heart. Breath carries that presence through every asana, linking movement to movement like a thread. The practice then returns us to the Universal Heart - to connection, cosmic love, presence and ultimate peace.
At the center of the Dalia Lane Yoga emblem rests the ANAHATA YANTRA, the sacred geometry associated with the heart chakra.
In traditional yogic symbolism, the upward triangle is associated with consciousness / Shiva and the downward triangle with creative energy / Shakti. Their meeting expresses DIVINE UNION of polarities: spirit and matter, male and female, above and below, dark and light, inhale and exhale, giving and receiving.
This is TRUE YOGA.
- Yam
- the traditional seed syllable of Anahata; breath, heart and inner vibration.
- Anahata Yantra
- the union of complementary forces in the heart.
- Heart lotus
- opening and unfolding into spiritual practice.
- Dalia flower
- nature, personal signature, continuity and the Dalia Lane heritage.
- Circle
- wholeness, return and the threshold into practice.
- The emblem
- Together, the emblem moves from the intimate center outward: from breath and heart into body, nature, loving connection, consciousness and universal love.
More on the seed syllable
At the heart of Anahata yantra is the bija, or seed syllable, YAM (यं), traditionally associated with the heart chakra and the air element.
Within the Dalia Lane Yoga philosophy, this creates a natural relationship between HEART and BREATH: breath is the living thread that carries loving presence through movement.
The visual form of the seed syllable also holds a personal association: it can suggest echoes of the moving individual letters of the name D A L I A.
Within the emblem, the stylized central form can also evoke a small human figure in Vrikshasana, the Tree Pose. Tree pose is Dalia’s favorite asana.
The heart is therefore not simply one energetic center among others. It is the meeting place - the portal through which embodied human experience opens into connection, presence and expanded consciousness. THE LIGHT.
This is a brand interpretation rather than a traditional Sanskrit meaning and should be treated as such.

A tree does not rise by rejecting its roots. The deeper it roots into the Earth, the more freely it can open toward the sky. In the same way, Dalia Lane Yoga does not seek transcendence by leaving the body behind. Loving embodiment becomes the foundation for spiritual opening. As a brand metaphor, however, the tree expresses the philosophy of the practice beautifully:
Rooted in the BODY.
Grounded in NATURE.
Centered in the HEART.
Opening toward LIGHT.

Dalia's classes are magical. She creates a unique energetic atmosphere, and her voice is so soothing and healing. She is very sensitive to the needs of her students and treats them with almost motherly care.

It feels like Dalia uses yoga and meditation as a container for her healing powers. I can feel her loving presence and energetic effects days after practicing with her. She is my favorite!
Jill
I love how Dalia combines profound spirituality with grounded embodied wisdom. She is far ahead of her age in maturity and wisdom and feels 10 years younger in her vitality and appearance. I adore her.
Vladlena
I hadn't realised how much I needed that time for myself. Thank you, Dalia, for helping me slow down and really enjoy being present. The class went by far too quickly.
Katia
Thank you for sharing your knowledge so generously, Dalia. The afternoon felt very special, and I've found myself returning to little moments from the practice throughout the week.
Daniel
Thank you Dalia for the wonderful class. We need more classes like these to bring us to the vibrations in which we are meant to be. I haven't enjoyed a class like this for a very long time.
Maite
Thank you again Dalia so much for treating us to your knowledge and practice! Last night Paul said your workshop was his favorite.

Before you come
I'm based in Canton Zug and teach in Central Switzerland, between Zurich and Lucerne. I live in the beautiful Ägeri Valley, where Lake Ägeri is surrounded by green mountains. I'm also available to travel, please get in touch if you'd like me to teach in your area.
You can learn more about my background, experience, and approach to teaching in the About section.
I welcome open minds. You're welcome to join as a beginner. I'll guide you step by step, and there's always room to ask questions and learn at your own pace.
We begin by arriving in the heart. Before movement, before effort, before doing, I invite you to connect with the felt presence of the heart and let the breath become your guide into the body. From there, the practice unfolds slowly through mindful movement, longer-held shapes and spacious pauses. I will remind you to return to your breath again and again, often with each new movement, so that the practice stays connected from within rather than becoming something you simply perform.
